Eric has 30 years experience in the utility contracting end of construction which entails installation of underground services, storm, sanitary, water, hydro, tel, street lighting and road and parking lot construction. He also has experience in land clearing and earth moving, basement and bulk excavations.
Eric worked for other contractors from 1972 to 1993 at which time he decided to start his own business. He called it Vantage Contracting Ltd. and purchased his first backhoe. He hired Mark Luers to learn how to run the backhoe and began taking on small jobs. As it turned out Mark was an excellent operator with great people skills and so Eric's customers were always pleased with the job. With this solid foundation in place Eric went ahead and built a successful contracting business to serve the Fraser Valley Community.
